KŌPŪ ARIKI is the Gathering of the Whare Ariki, bringing together participating Whare Ariki in a spirit of mutual respect, cooperation, and shared responsibility. Through lived practice, relationship, dialogue, and Official Hui Ariki Business, the gathering provides a forum to consider matters affecting Aotearoa, Te Moana Nui a Kiwa, Te Ao Mārama, and Ngā Rangitūhāhā. Guided by the principles of Te Kōtahitanga and the Hui Ariki Living Infrastructure KŌPŪ ARIKI seeks to strengthen relationships, encourage thoughtful leadership, and foster practical action that benefits present and future generations. This website was created by Te Whatukura Ō Tangaroa - Kupe Nuku IO-Ariki, 9th (Tangaroa Ngaropo-Tāwio Pouroto) under the spiritial and divine authority of Te Whare Atua Ō IO Tikitikiōrangi.
